Meet the bee keeper

Our story

We are a small family business, all natural and homemade!

We date back to the 90’s in Eastern Europe, Bulgaria. Having 1 apery with 30 beehives, our bee keeper has been passionate ever since a young age and knows everything about bees.

Our passion for running a honey business turned from idea into a reality when St Albans Honey was founded.

What started out as a small apery in 2020 soon became a successful home business with multiple apiaries, healthy colonies, and multi-story beehives producing a unique line of tasty and naturally sweet products.

With our high quality products made with love, we’re committed to making our customers happy as we have witnessed so many examples already.

We produce organic natural, eco-friendly and healthy goods at affordable prices.

Our bees are so gentle and friendly that we only the wear top half of a beekeeper suit... or sometimes even no suit!

- We don't use any toxic chemicals, fertilisers or pesticides for them at all. We have deep research into the best tools and supplies for them.

Ever since we opened our doors in St Albans Honey, we've been committed to raising awareness to the importance of bees in nature and all the dangers they face.

We have 3 aperies based in St Albans and around St Albans.

In addition to staying local, we also focus on keeping our work sustainable and fair, by constantly looking after them every day and checking up on each hive because we know that happy and healthy bees lead to great produce for our customers.

Our happy bees use their natural sweet produce to create bursting flavours in each jar and pot! From using trees to flowers to bushes, we have a range of different colours and flavours.

That is why SORN 'Sweetest, Organic, Raw, Natural honey' is our motto here at St Albans Honey.

Something surprising and special about some of our bees is that we have rescued colonies and families that we have managed to treat and save!
